Event names and payloads are subject to change until launch.
Webhooks tell your app what happened, so you don't have to poll. Sedge sends a signed event to your server when a payment or subscription changes, for example:

paid | A payment was confirmed. Grant or extend access. |
past_due | A subscription payment couldn't be collected. |
canceled | A subscription ended. |
subscription.approval_expiring | A subscription's allowance is about to run out. |

Webhooks are included on every plan, including Free.
